A group of students from the University of Chester have marked the completion of their virtual work experience with an online farewell ceremony. With new and different ways of working devised due to the pandemic, a project was trialled to offer students on the Global Digital Entrepreneurship learning programme a virtual work experience internship as part of their studies.The programme is non-credit bearing and supports second career seekers, current entrepreneurs and students to become competent global digital entrepreneurs.The interns were degree and visiting students from the UK and abroad studying at the University of Chester, with one student from the University of Oxford. The 2019 University of Chester Talent Show held its final auditions on Wednesday the 4th December 2019 at Parkgate Road Campus, where performers displayed their wonderful talents such as singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. The Show was organised by the Business Research Institute China Centre, with support from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. From the First Auditions six groups of performers made their way to the Final at which they competed for the top three places. On April 12th, a delegation headed by Vice Chancellor Tim Wheeler and Business Research Institute Executive Director Phil Harris of the University of Chester visited Shaanxi Normal University.They were received by SNNU president You Xuqun and vice president Ren Xiaowei at the Administration Building on Chang’an campus. You Xuqun welcomed the guests and briefed them about the university.
